I'm thinking about getting some Halo's for my 2007 Toyota Tacoma but I have a few questions about them first.

    Headlights: http://www.k2motor.com/4lhptac06jmks.html

    1. Do the middle part of the Halo rings light up? (the question sounds stupid I know! :()
    2. How do you wire up the turn signals?
    3. And last but not least.. Are the ccfl halos bright?

I would really appreciate any help give ! Thanks in advanced!

    1) only the rings light up
    2) it completely plug and play very easy to install
    3) ccfl are the best way to go very bright can see day or night
Check out mine on my build page but i have no idea where it went. lol

Same halos but earlier version they have the eyebrow. some people complain about fogging, I never had that issue. I did have an issue with my left halos wiring harness coming lose in the socket. I just took some electrical tape and taped the wires and so that they were stiffer. Havent had a problem since. I love them. The display pattern isnt the best but with fogs on its better and if you have extra lights behind the grill that arent too bright that you can drive with too then it is helps too. it takes a little getting used to but i love the look.

The halos are, the lights them selves are average because of the display. the bright lights are good. You can adjust them how you like too which is nice no needing the old time clips.

Wait, I'm confused lol. What do you mean by "the lights themselves are average"?

lol Sorry I mean the bulbs. The Halos are great but they are just for looks they dont actually illuminate anything. Inside there is a halogen bulb that lights up that you can adjust for your brights and regular lights (which means you will have to buy separate bulbs for brights and regulars if one blows) The halogen bulbs dont shine in a great pattern which at times when you first get them seem kind off odd. which is why i give it an average for optical output. Perhaps if you upgraded the bulbs that might help. but i havent tried that yet. I just deal with it. I just always drive with my fogs on to help compensate.

That's what I was wondering! So their is a bulb in the epicenter of the halo to act as the "headlight"? The halo's I'm looking at have a projector, so if I'm not mistaken, that should help with the patterns and stuff you were talking about? (I'm not the best at understanding this) lol

Mine are considered projector headlights too. I dont know why. I think because it uses very tight mirrors to project a narrow beam of light out. Thats the only thing I can think of. Thats why I bought them on K2 cause if i didnt like them they are very helpful and friendly and easy to deal with. I suggest checking out retailmenot.com and seeing if there are any coupon codes available.

And that was with a flash on the camera too so the halos are pretty bright.
