Installed a Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator to adjust for larger tires. Found the hidden Taco Truck I was unaware of.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Need to zoom out on that area a bit. I think I know the area you're talking about, but that doesn't look like it to me. Scratched up textured plastic would be a problem, I guess, 'cause you can't polish out the scratches. The interior door handle pockets on my truck are smooth, so I'm a little confused.

Cupeez are meant for the exterior. They're flexible magnetic material and work well for preventing scratches (I honestly don't know how the exterior door handle area gets that scratched up (it's not like I have long fingernails or anything), but they do. Gently warm the Cupeez up (hair dryer, warm water, whatever) before applying and they conform to the surface and are easily removed if need be as they're magnetic. Great product.

Big fan of Chris Fix videos*, seems like he researches the subject pretty thoroughly before making a YT vid.

    * - though I recently watched his video on installing bed lights and was like "What? No. Don't do that. What were you thinking?", but we won't talk about that one.

Thanks! Yeah I do. I was hoping to source at local dealer but nobody carries them in stock so I’ll be ordering soon.

Got mine half way ready for a Colorado fly fishing trip in a couple weeks. Built a slider for the cooler and slapped together a sleeping platform.20200627_184332.jpg 20200627_184413.jpg 20200627_184457.jpg 20200627_184540.jpg

Well, not today, but last weekend. Put the Rodan to work - picked up a Coachmen Apex Nano 194BHS. Empty weight 3634lbs, GVWR 4800lbs and a tongue weight of 480. With the WDH - it towed rather nicely. A little bit of dancing around when the tractor trailers passed us doing 80, but - that's FL drivers for you. The truck settled in at 72mph, and it just purred at about 3K RPMs.

There's been a lot of discussion of lug nuts recently, and I started thinking about what I've got, and how many seat types there were, and ran across this:

"Important! Your spare tire requires the use of factory lug nuts. Town Fair Tire recommends you save your original lug nuts in the spare tire compartment so they will be available should you ever get a flat tire."

    https://www.townfairtire.com/inform...on-guide/wheel-lug-nut-seat-types/index.shtml

Seems to me to be words of wisdom for anyone running aftermarket wheels. Thank you Town Fair Tire!

What enhanced suspension do you have? I installed the RMAS system in order to improve towing capability.

My son is working on getting his license so he needs some seat time. Five of us and two dogs were going to head out to a state park in Minnesota to kayak and stand up paddleboard so we had to take two vehicles. I loaded all the stuff into the Tacoma, which my wife drove for the first time, and I was in our Pilot with my son.

    Long way to get to...

Today I stared out the back window at it. :p
