I spend allot of time with my son, but no matter how much time we spend together, the second that my wife comes in the room he cries for her. I know all it is is those darn tits that he wants.

Anyone know what I can do to compete with that.

No, Im not going to buy one of those man tittys

    2nd gen sec?

Spend more time with him. We're learning about this stuff in AP Psych. It's called attachment. Basically, in his earlier years, who'd he hang around more?

I think some kids are like that.....but after a while they'll change. Just takes some time, keep trying to spend some time with him, he'll come around.

The only other thing that could compete with that is toys.......ah what am I kidding, the boobies always win. lol

Talk to him more. That's what I do with my 2 month old daughter. I talk to her all the time and she answers me back! In coos and Ohs oh course, but its still awesome. I'll ask her about her day and then she'll coo and then I'll say "well that sounds fun" stuff like that.

You can't compete with mom in the early years, learn to live with it.

Instead of moping about it, look forward to when he is older and you take him to football games, hunting and you teach him how to fix stuff, maybe even how to change oil  Now mom can't compete with that, ya know?

One way is to be the one to bathe him, change him, get him dressed, feed him. Do everything you can for/with him. It will take time, but he will come around.

I think you just need to spend time with him and enjoy the time you do have with him. Little boys are drawn to their mothers. It's an instinct given by nature because he has a bond from feeding a man can't duplicate and your wife did carry him around for almost 10 months.

Seriously, just enjoy the time you do have with him. As he gets older he will gravitate to dad.

If you are terminally ill, you said you don't have much time left, check out the Gerson Miracle. It's some pretty amazing stuff.
