Does anyone have any recommendations for a compact under seat sub? I have a regular cab and am too tall to try to move the seat up any on it. Im redoing the whole audio system in the truck, New sony head unit, rockford replacement speakers and tweeters and I'm trying to find a good sub to put under the seat. I thought maybe the kicker powered sub but am open to suggestions

I’m in the same boat as you, plan on upgrading the speakers in my truck, and would like a nice powered sub woofer to put under my passenger seat.

Man, it's tight under there. It'll be interesting to see what works. With small amps under each side and power distribution, I don't even have room to hide a DSP there. Maybe a custom center console? Then again I don't have a bench seat - maybe you get more room with it?

I run a 10 inch kicker comp behind my bench seat in my truck. The amp fits perfectly under my drivers seat where I can make adjustments, but the sub is a little snug. I kinda like it though because it puts the seat back up more improving my posture when I’m driving. I can get some pics of it in a couple days for you.

It works really good. Had some of my friends help me out installing it, hardest part was definitely taking out the bench seat and putting it back in when we were all done. Also had to make our own custom sub box for the build too. But it actually works super well you’d be surprised

Yeah its the 60/40 bench, Kicker has a few options also. The Rockford Fosgate is 3.3 inches deep, The kicker Hideaway 10 is 3.4 inches and the Kickerhideaway 8 is 3 and 1/8th depth. I wish i had the truck here to measure it but I won't have it till next month.

Some of Peter Kulicki's designs might work if you have a 3D printer

He's made some really awesome content over the last few years. He used to be an engineer for AD & still does freelance work for different audio companies. He also shares his 3D print designs - which is hella cool. There are more cabinet designs too - this is just one example.

I know it's old post, but if anyone has pictures I'd like to see what's out there. I have a pair of 6.5 subs, I'm probably going to end up with a small aeroported box and tune for 32hz.
