Looking for trustworthy places in NOVA for alignment. I’m aware of @boogie3478 favorite place Hi Tech but what else is there without having to travel too far on new UCA’s and coils. Thanks!!

 

Lol avoid Hi Tech like it's got COVID-19 with a twist of HIV. Mach5 Motorsports in Sterling did my last alignment after I got my UCAs squared away.

Like @boogie3478 I would also recommend Mach5 motorsports. I had just taken the 4runner to them after installing my new front suspension before our last run up Flag Pole. They did great work and had me in and out in about an hour.

Sad I missed your guys' meet. I just got a tacoma about a week and a half ago and I'm down in the Fredericksburg area after moving here about a year ago. Used to be big in the jeep world in WV but wanted to try something different. Are there any must see stock friendly trails around? I'm an experienced wheeler but in a stock TRD Sport. Would also be interested if there are any active Tacoma/4x4 clubs one could get involved with.

I'll try to make it to the next meetup if I'm available!

 

Welcome! AOAA and Rausch up in PA have plenty of stock friendly trails, as well as more difficult ones. It’d be good for an experienced driver in a stock truck to see its capabilities. There’s also Peter’s mill run, as well as flagpole knob which we frequent.

A huge shout out to Adam @ilubtimmyhos for the assist yesterday with the install of new UCAs (thanks Nick @Darkgoatracer) 888 OME coils, Mobtown slimline front bumper, Smittybilt winch, and Blue Sea wiring harness rewire. It was a very hot day and we had some hiccups along the way but in the end Adam persevered! I must also comment on the excellent beer and hospitality as well. Thank you!

Now off to get an alignment.

So when I finally get the truck up at the neighbors to shim the rear axle and you realize driver rear wheel is almost falling off and sheered off a wheel stud...think that might have been the extra noticable shimmying 3 Fridays ago getting on and off the interstate (thanks to the highway angel that was keeping that one lug nut super snug!).

Yay auto store run (he had damn near a match, shoulder was off)...
