    The hell kinda build thread is this???!? This is ridiculous..... o_O:rolleyes:

    If I put 285's on my truck will the tires rub? If I only have 2"-3" of lift with 285's will my tires rub?? If I use SPC UCA's will my tires rub??? Heaven forbid my tires should rub..... :facepalm: "Will my tires rub" has to be one of the most asked, and most misunderstood, questions rolling around TW.
    Guess what?? My tires rub. 285's, 3" lift, SPC's, CMC, fender liner trim AND THEY STILL RUB!! :goingcrazy: Yawn... :jerkoff: You would think that the world is coming to an end.

    So anyways, what we have here is a CMC (Cab Mount Chop) to help alleviate tire contact with stuff they shouldn't contact. Someday I will trim the last little bit of plastic that my tires hit. I am opposed to trimming the last little bit as the tire contact when pulling in the driveway lets my neighbors know I am home. BRRAAAPPPP!!! :D

    Please note the large hammer.


    I also relocated the spare tire hoist 1" rearward to accommodate the 285 spare. This helps with spare tire clearance for a good fit. This is an easy mod as ya' just have to drill two holes in the crossmember and utilize two existing holes to remount the hoist. Easy Peasy! :thumbsup:
