Cool!Pic from Skatercon2020.Always great to see Steve.Felt rad to be remembered when i approached him at his booth at the event.He remembered when i had seen him at pryor events discussing the board that he signed and know i had made the trip from Huntington Beach to Arizona for the event.So sweet!Pics also are Steve and Micke from the Pipeline Skatepark in Upland,CA.Two of my all time favorite pics of them.

Steve Alba is one of the greats. I used to watch him at Pipeline when I was a kid. Two words: Power & Style.

I never realized that Grosso's bday falls on the same day as my moms. That's pretty rad.

Absolutely touching for Grossman!Salba surely is great!In 1983 Pipeline Skaterpark is the very first skatepark where i learned to skate very/transitional.There were times when my dad got pissed off because i’d watch Salba skate instead of myself skating,lol!Wow that’s interesting that your mom’s birthday falls on the same day as Jeff.I still haven’t gotten the Thrasher issue so it’s time to scoop up a issue.

 

@ETAV8R I just looked it up.June issue is cover only.Following issue July will be the memorial issue.I still will be getting both.

The first vhs i ever got was Birdhouse The End. First part is Andrew Reynolds frontside flipping down the stairs over the handrail.

Kind of a weird video though cause the sound is dubbed through the whole thing

Highlights include Tony Hawk in a matador outfit, Heath Kirchart and Jeremy Klein dragging a ramp around at night, lots of good stuff

Lately i've been watching lots of Primitive videos, they're really well filmed and edited, good quality street skating

 

Few weeks ago I picked up two old school decks and switched over the truck and wheels from my most recent boards.

Took the Fibreflex out to some parking garages and was stoked. One garage has both frontside and backside directions. Security never showed up either.

Later that evening I cleaned three sets of bearings.

 

I found an old deck at a small park near my house yesterday, just need wider/wide-ish trucks for it. Doesn't look cracked, don't know why somebody left it

Should still have some pop

That deck is rad as fuck!
