Lazy day today. Been triple digits for the last few weeks. Got a couple days of minus 100 starting tomorrow so I'm going to get some things done inside that need done then do outside stuff early next week. Looking for 113 sometime in the near forecast. July/August will definitely test a person's resolve and work ethic.

Naw, he's a baby, about 4 foot.. But if my babies had run over it in the tall grass I'd of had a problem..

I was about to take care of the problem myself when the neighbor wandered down the driveway.. I ended up calling FWC to come get him..

My Son and each one of the Posey he runs with won the gator lottery this year, 2 tags each, 6 guys, they'll be able to take 12 gators this year..

been cleaning my back room / craft room / guest room / camping off season storage / junk gathering place / new home office all day. still have lots of crafty things to put away, i've filled a garbage can with random shit, I have a box full of stuff to donate to Goodwill, there's still a pile of fabric on the floor i've been working around BUT the work computer is set up and everything seems to function. even though its a big L shaped desk the two 24" monitors and laptop dock take up almost the whole thing. i had actually thought about getting rid of the desk as I don't really use it and I wanted to set up a permanent sewing station. guess its good i kept it.

    i also found:
my learners permit signed by my drivers ed instructor
    my first real drivers license
the receipt from my wedding ring
a box of floppy disks that I think have my course work from college on them
the plane ticket stub from when i left AK for good
key to the place i lived in in AK

taking a bit of a break now before i dive back in. getting the computer set up so i can be ready to work tomorrow was the main goal of the day. at least its cool enough in my place today to be doing this stuff. been raining off and on, in the 50's and i have all the windows in my place open.

Isn't it amazing the crap we accumulate.

So, loaded question. Will the Saharan Dust take out the Murder Hornet? Will it soak up the rona out of the air? Will Murder Hornets help spread rona? Asking for a friend...

Don't forget a major earthquake in Calif that sets off a major eruption from the Long Valley Caldera (Super Volcano) which sets off an eruption of Yellowstone

Wear a mask that's made in China it will protect you from the virus. It will filter out the Saharan dust and the ash from the volcano. It will keep the Murder Hornets out of your mouth when you have this look  on your face when the earthquake happens.

Don't much care what earthquakes happen west of here. The bridge over the Colorado is designed turn into a boat launch when California falls over....we're good.

If the newly discovered Walker Lane subduction zone ruptures which has become very active over the last year with five large earthquakes 6.0 to 7.1 magnitude , you might get your wish

This subduction zone which runs from Mammoth lakes in the Owens Valley South to the Salton sea and into the Gulf of California . If it ruptures the Gulf of Calif would extend North thru Nevada to Pyramid lake in Nevada . Yuma Arizona would be in the middle of the newly formed Gulf

    Ha ha....
When I got married back in the 90’s, my older sister came over for the wedding. We all went on a swamp tour....
All up in the swamp and there was alligators everywhere and I could see she was nervous about this. Anyway we pulled up on a small bit of land and the old coonass guide went to grab a little one. While we are all watching him, another little gator got in the boat. My sister, who is a big lass, screamed and jumped for the land out of the boat. Needless to say, she didn’t make it and landed in the water. The old coonass guide, goes whatcha doing out there, there are a lot more bigger ones out there, to which my sister leapt back in the boat with all the grace of a seal landing on an iceberg. We almost all went in the water. Everyone was in tears laughing so hard.... I can say, my sister is a good sport. She still that tale at home, but her story shows her with a lot more style points.
