Getting my 25k free service done, and sat in a Tundra limited at the dealer. God damn it was comfortable. Spacious, comfortable seats. Nice big bed. It was a wide truck, which would be a pain to park in a city and hazardous to drive around narrow mountain roads. Also the gas mileage fucking sucks ass. But that is one really nice truck and I left wanting it.

I would go with the new F150 with the killer inverter in the hybrid. Perfect for dispersed camping. Or just wait for new Tundra.

I am waiting for the new Tundra. I am starting to realize the extra space and ability to pull the family trailers would be nice. I wish it was still coming this year.

Considering the problems the 2016 tacoma had I will have to wait a few years to buy the new tundra.

I’ve owned my 16 since new. Not one issue. I must be the minority. 2016 Taco’s matter.

Wait until you try to drive that Tundra as a daily driver you will wish you had the Tacoma back. Those things are a pig in the city and yes I have many hours driving an OR Tundra.

Both of my brothers have the tundra. I’ve driven them a few times. Awesome trucks but I would hate it as my daily. I have no need for a full size. Also, from what I can tell, the mods for the Tacoma far outweigh Tundra.

Thats gotta be a joke. Get a truck that falls apart before 75k miles simply for the inverter? No thanks

Better gas mileage than my Taco (probably) while hauling LOTS more gear. Win/win.

Well, I mean most full size trucks beat us on fuel mileage. I'd be interested in test driving one just to see what it can do.

Thought that was for when the wife goes in the grocery store?

    Vehicle:
Current vehicles: 2019 Rav4 Lunar Rock. 2018 TRD OR DCSB KD Max tuned. 2010 Tundra Limited Crew Max . 1991 4Runner Crawler. Ivan Stewart Edition
KD Max Tune, King 2.5 coil overs T.C. UCA's, Deaver leafs, 17x9 Black Rhyno Warlords, 33" Toyo M/T's, Metal Tech rear bumper, Westin HDX drop steps with Bullet Liner coating, K&N CAI, Baja Designs fog pods, Rigid Midnight addition 3" pod ditch lights. Cali Raised brackets and 32" behind the grill mounted light bar, Southern Style Offroad Lopro Stage II front bumper, Warn winch, FACTOR 55 Ultra Hook, FACTOR 55 Hawes Fairleed, full debadge, Cosmetic goodies such as 15% carbon tint, matte black in channel rain guards, interior LED's, Teton Workshop shift knob, Inferno vinyl detailing on the interior, Cali Raised multi rocker switch cubby insert with Mc Tuning LED switches and a few other mods I've probably left out.
I love both so I bought both and each serve their purpose. The Tundra is big and comfortable and drives great and is my daily driver however I don't live or work in the city. The Tundra is my work horse and what I use to tow my cargo trailer, my dump trailer and my 22' Airsteam and it also hauls my four dogs comfortably in the back where they have a cozy straw bed.
The Tacoma is my toy, my other woman and what I take off roading with a side of mall crawling when it's not sitting on the shelf like a good queen. It's a blast to drive and is an incredibly capable wheeler.

The Tundra has 105k miles and the Tacoma just rolled 8k miles and both have been flawless runners.

I wouldn't mind test driving one for the sh*ts and giggles of it. I used to have a GMC Sierra back in early 2010s. It was just a work truck, but I do miss the bigger cab. I DO NOT miss having to fill that bitch up.

However, I'm happier in the smaller trucks.

There's always going to be a "give-and-take" in a full size vs. midsize truck.
