Got to see them with Steve Martin at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio in 2014 (I think). Very fun show!

Guess I need to fire my Luthier and myself.
This 440 is damn near the best setup on a guitar I've ever seen.

Strings are just laying on the fretboard with super minimal buzzing. I ain't even gonna Ness with it!!

Scratchy pots and 5 way selector switch don't even bother me enough to take it in.

    Right on man.
    Great minds....

I like the ones you sent me too. Just, out of the pile of everything Ive tried lately these really stood out.
    Ordering some 1.0s atm.

    Awesome.
My son is out from utah, he blew thru the rg setup in like 20mins today.
His truss tool didnt fit and we could not find a socket or wrench that would do it so I ordered the ibanez 7mm wrench.
    He says it needs it.
Other than that, he nailed the bridge height and trem level. The action now is just like you just described.

Bet you wake up with a smile on your face for a week!
    I know Im going to.
So happy for you, you and that guitar were meant for each other.

And guess which one was his favorite pickup....
Oh and he didnt bring the PRS or the Schecter dangit!
    "Just" his martin acoustic.
    Dude shreds.

Guitar is ready for pickup. He said it needed a slight neck adjustment. Gonna grab her later today. Stuck in meetings most of the day :pout:

Ask him what size hex or wrench you need for your truss rod, and then pick one up. It will come in handy if it occurs again.

Just ordered one last nite myself.

And I'll pass on what my son said...
Most of you guys already know but for us rookies...

it'll take about 24hrs to settle then may need a little more adjustment.
And, a little goes a long way so, small increments, give it time then more if it needs it.

    Righty tighty=bow
    Lefty loosey=relief

    Hope I got it right.
I have CRS but I wrote it down in my "guitar" notebook.

Guitar picked up. He said the neck moved a bit. It’s strange how it was only just that one string that had the buzzing. Oh well. Omw home to play for a lil bit

    Yes. 24 hours.

Been sitting at work tonight with absolutely nothing to do. Boss is gone, his boss is gone, my shift coordinator is gone. Hell, half the plant is gone.

We are off for vacay wed, thur, fri and Monday. So most everyone took today and tomorrow off.
I burn thru my 6 weeks vacay usually before July 1st, so here I sit. :(

    Only plaid mostly chords sat/sun.
Left arm is like 20% numb still. Can't even run basic pentatonic scales anymore.

    Way to "rock the clock"!

Thats what we call the quiet shifts.
Gotta love it. Makes up for all the shitty, shit never ends, no break no lunch, thank gawd that misery is over, shifts.

    Srry bout ur shoulder.
Its a curse in archery, and a death sentence.
Never really thought about how it would affect guitarists before ..
Been out of the life for so long it didnt even dawn on me, cant shoot bow/cant play guitar.
Same injury puts us out of both.
Saw a lot of good shooters go down for the count never to shoot again.
Suks to get old, never thought itd happen to me or guys I knew. Now here we are.
    How tf did that happen???
Oh well, at least we're still
