    So here’s what got me into vacuuming with a blower, except Bob uses his like a hydraulic miner and blows off the soil to concentrate and get the gold- AQMD (our air quality district in Cali) would love that! Anyways, he also uses his large corrugated pipe as a dry sluice. I am just planning to use mine as a vacuum with a separate dust catching vortex seperator.     I know! I think he’s doing it right above bedrock though, I don’t imagine trying to move more soil than that. Too dusty for my likes though, that stuff’s bad for you and I have been in it in too many other jobs. My lungs are still good, have to keep them that way!

    The guy selling the GP 3000 on Craigslist answered me and said he’s still selling it and is getting a new battery for it as well.

    A 7000 is sweet but I cant wait for the GPXRF 8000 next year, it has XRF built into the coil and can differentiate lead, aluminum, zinc, iron and a bunch of other elements from gold!

    Hobb’s will definitely be wanting one of those next! :bananadance:
