It blew through here around 3 or 4. Luckily no hail for me but there was nearby. Heavy, heavy rain and very strong thunder.

No the boat is sacrificial now.
    Under a double tarp.
If I didn’t have empty tool boxes waiting for my retirement I think I could finagle it in the back.

But yes much luckier than most

talked to my boss a bit ago....since our positive case dealt a lot with our install crews they've asked those guys to all self quarantine for 14 days. since they're not working they decided that none of us need to work. with the holiday it was already a short week with a lot of folks taking vacation so we're not missing much. boss asked if i would work tomorrow since i'm set up here at home and help tie us any loose ends.

Are you going to be able to go camping off grid and quarantine in nature away from everyone?

You're sure getting some things done. My office needs a good going through. It's turning into a craft sewing room and well. I need to downsize my desk to get the sewing/cutting table in there that the wife and I have been building. Getting close to done so the office will have to be a priority soon. Bought a new desktop quilting machine last year and have yet to get it out of the plastic (waiting on the table to get done).

Yup, short week, perfect timing. I had to burn 30 hours to get the week, so if you get it for free, take it.

during lockdown i took advantage of being at home and cleared out my old files - bank statements and whatnot. cleaned out the garage. the back room was way overdue for a good cleaning and i needed to get my home office set up. probably should have done this months ago but its a big job and i procrastinated like crazy to avoid it! i hate cleaning so i have to either be under a deadline (like having houseguests) or really bored to make it happen. during the 2.5 months of lockdown i worked either at my dining table or from my recliner just because i was too lazy to clean the damn desk off
i also quilt. but i usually do that at the dining room table so quilting is my winter hobby and needs to get packed away every summer. once i get going the fabric and crap takes over the entire dining room and living room - only so long i can put up with that before i go crazy. if i could have a dedicated craft room at least things would be contained and i could do it year round.

yup. 32 hours (+8 for the holiday) per employee...roughly 24 of us...and the company is covering it all, we don't need to dip into our PTO. That's a hefty price tag for them. But they're doing the right thing and trying to make sure we're safe so hopefully worth it.

    Let's see, 25th anniversary today.

We both forgot until our son reminded us.

Got takeout from a nice Japanese restaurant.

At work, one guy took a vacation last week and has announced that he is getting shoulder surgery this week and will be out for 10 weeks.

    Nice

    Sorry Bill, stay strong.

Other places more north got some flooding.
Some coffee and shift into first... motivation is not my best suit this morning
