Well, the Son finally bought a house on a couple of acres... Worked all weekend to help him and the fam to get settled in.. Dad is getting to old for this moving shit!! I am sore EVERYWHERE!! Have you noticed that the older we get the heavier furniture and appliances get!

Headed to the lake right after work. Wife has her monthly bunco night tonight.

Little slow moving myself today. Pushed a little hard yesterday moving some lumber around. Weather is supposed to be about the same here this week. Dodging rain.

Helped the son-in-law move a 400lb safe last weekend. Even had a furniture dolly. I use to be able to move that much on my own. Now I pay for it for days.

Warm + Humid with chance of storms all week.

Thursday and Friday are holiday for me. Rest of week is vacation. Plan was to build a retaining wall 14×2.5 feet. Everything was delivered last week. Started to move block and saw most of it damaged. Supplier will be replacing it. Just put my plans behind schedule.

Good morning all, smoke in the air from AZ fires to the point it looks like fog and hard to breath today. Changing plans on today's projects. Gave both boys a bath yesterday, they are clean and soft. Phoenix (our Lab) is blowing his coat while Boris (the Golden) is like a cotton ball right now.

Have to take the 4-Runner in for the annual service tomorrow - can't wait until the Toyo Care is done so I can do the servicing here. Don't want to chance loosing the coverage. Not to offend anyone here but I do not trust dealership service centers around here.

I don't trust dealership service centers either. I just fixed a moaning noise in a RAV4 that the customer had front struts replaced in fla for this exact some noise. Took me 30 seconds and a squirt of oil. Didn't even charge him.

Thunder in the distance just now. The temp. was 94 here today. Felt like 194 when I was mowing the lawns at my rental properties. As they say, “hotter than 6 hells”.

Currently a nice 72° , just got done vacuuming the interior of my truck then in about an hour get in another walk around the neighborhood
