Soft topper

Will a second green soft topper fit on a third gen? I can pick one up locally for $250, but I don’t want it to look foolish or not work properly. Has anyone transferred one to their new truck?

 

Yes it will fit, it will stick up a little higher than the cab of the truck though. The 2nd gen bedsides were lower so the topper is taller, if you put it on a third gen it will be a little too tall. If you dont like it just resell it, $250 is a steal, should be easy to resell.

 

that’s kinda my thoughts. I don’t mind if it’s a little tall, I’m just curious if it’ll be structurally sound sticking above the cab
