There were a bunch of years where a bike was my only transportation. One long cold winter riding between south Ft Worth and North Dallas. Most of my adult life in fact, only one "car" at the house. If wife needs the taco, I ride, no matter the weather, or she rides. Crazy lady likes riding in the rain

The guy that sold me my blue 48 did that. Except in snow over 5 inches. He had a Dyna

Welp, I’m slowly collecting the parts I need to clean, rebuild and synchronize the carburetors on my little Ninja 250.

I’m waiting for a stretch of rainy days in the forecast before I tear into it.

@fatfurious2 if we parked a few feet over would have been a better backdrop

Nice. Carbs can be fun and cleaning and rebuilding them is a great way to get to know how they work. Rebuilt the 4 carbs on my CB a few winters back. It was a super rewarding feeling when I put it back on the bike and it fired up faster than it ever had before.

Thought Hondas were supposed to last longer...even tiny ones. Thanks for the clarification!

They will last longer, but that doesnt mean dont buy that one. It just has high miles.

Fuck that. I pulled the carb on my crf to clean and rejet it. Never again. Had to take the whole rear ended apart to get it. Good thing I sold that bike though

    Sucks to suck haha

On the CB I just had to undo the fuel line, throttle cable, choke cable, and loosen the carb boots. Popped right out.

Speaking of the CB, took it out today to scout locations. GF has been asking if we can go take her picture in the canola fields while they’re all yellow. Figured I’d take the opportunity to go find her a good spot and take some “test pics”

:101010: @kcuv that looks like it was a blast!!!

idk if anyone here follows off road racing but yesterday on TV they did a recap on this years Mint 400

they had added two new 2 wheel classes this year called Hooligan Enduro & Hooligan Open where bikes like the ducati scrambler and HD sportsters competed.

would recommend anyone who is interested to check it out, some really great footage!!!
