Yesterday we slapped on some basic running boards so the wife and kiddo can get in easier, then gave it a much needed bath.

 

Need to touch up the skids after install today. Gonna be a pain in the ass with a rattle can, so I may grab a little tub of bedliner.

 

No. I only heard it when I was leaning on the fender installing the electronics last week. Sounded like metal on plastic, which is what it was.

How much did this cost you? I had the roof on mine done a few months ago for 400$ and when I called the same place back they want $500 and change for the hood saying it's more complex....

But it's less material than the hood.

Just a thought but while rattle cans might be a pain in the butt you usually end up with a more satisfactory result, in my experience anyway.

 

...and so it begins. After the first mod, it gets easier for the next etc.

Ain't that the truth. Running boards were just the beginning. Have some all-weather mats arriving today, then the "bigger" mods are in queue. Replace tweeters and speakers, build the auto-lock mechanism for the tailgate, install the front-view camera on order. The only saving grace so far is that Meso has been out of stock with a lot of 3rd gen items lately....

 

unfortunately I sold it Needing to start towing race car trailers again. I will miss it so much.
