That is correct sir. The way I got this was I found a taco with a snorkel from the factory and I gave the dealer the VIN# off of that taco to order it like that.. WORKED PERFECT !!!!

Thank you for confirming OP.. I can see that would be one way to get a snorkel, but I wonder if Toyota is ever going to make the snorkel available to the rest of us Tacoma owners?

That is the $10000 question. Just use a VIN # off of a trd pro. CARFAX should work or any dealer that has one for sale on there lot 2019 or 2020 model should do. Sometimes you have to out-smart these people ...

Well first off, is your truck a pro from 2019 to 2020 &1/2, reason I ask this is because the pro's have welded nuts under the rubber roof molding strip to secure the snorkel upper bracket to, without these nuts it will be much more harder to get a base line for the position of the snorkel & harder to secure this bracket !!! IF you do have the welded nuts up there just put the upper bracket into these nuts & secure the upper portion of snorkel to it. Then hold the snorkel to the fender and make sure it is straight, I put long threaded rods in the snorkel body and used grease on the ends of the studs and put it on the fender to mark where to drill the holes. Then I guessed where the air intake hole should be, once I got that I used a 1/2 bit to be get about where the intake hole should be..Then once I knew for sure I used a hole saw & die grinder to OPEN IT UP & smooth the hole. NOTE:SEAL THE DRILL HOLES WITH SOME TYPE OF RUST PREVENTER. Hope this helps you !!!
