Ain't that the truth. Running boards were just the beginning. Have some all-weather mats arriving today, then the "bigger" mods are in queue. Replace tweeters and speakers, build the auto-lock mechanism for the tailgate, install the front-view camera on order. The only saving grace so far is that Meso has been out of stock with a lot of 3rd gen items lately....

 

unfortunately I sold it Needing to start towing race car trailers again. I will miss it so much.

But it's a helluva lot easier to do the hood.

Yeah, shut off the AC. I'm not sure if these trucks have a idle air control valve but I would clean the throttle body anyway. Sometimes over many miles a carbon ring will develop around the throttle plate, and allow air to bypass the plate. Computer will go crazy dumping fuel.
