No I’m in the process of applying for Vocational Rehab through the VA. My wife and little brother are going to a tech school in August. I was down there doing their financial work and talking to the Veteran benefits person about way to afford it and whatnot and she recommended I call the Voc Rehab guy and discuss it.

So I just applied for the same Tech school and will best case scenario be starting the program in August.

Wow even the registration looks like a dipshit..."Wife Approved LLC".
Looking at the googlemaps street view he does like Toyotas. Has a Tundra and Sienna. Both stealthy white.

Google streetview indicates he drives a tundra though. So at least he got one thing right.

I’m pretty sure this is considered doxing.

Good luck! I finally got approved a couple of weeks ago but still waiting for more documentation to fill out, etc and to sign up at the college. I was hoping to be in classes for the summer but the coronavirus has delayed everything. After I got out, I wish I had stopped screwing around and just started up at one of the flight training schools in Florida. I was looking at ERAU (since I had already taken some classes at Holloman), Flight Safety, and FIT. But, that was many years ago, and ended up using the GI Bill for a IT career. I'd love to start flying again, I have 65 hours, but pretty given up on the idea of making that into a career path.

It’s never too late! I have a few friends at my work that this is a second/third career for them. One’s an ex UPS driver and a couple are retired police. You just have to have the drive and determination. Realize pay is not going to be great for a few years. Then, you make it to your first “big” job.

Great job for retired law enforcement. They usually don't have to depend on a 2nd income after retirement.

Does anyone fly privately in AK or ID/WY/UT area? I have friends who take people out to hunting and photo locations, etc. and I'd love to hear about your experiences, see photos, hear your discussion about which planes you like and why, etc. ha I'm driving up to Alaska with my old Marine buddy next week and plan to fly as much as possible with his friends who take him to hunting spots for the week that I'm there :D

My interest is solely in landing off-pavement, if anyone here does that for a living I'd love to see and hear more about your career and whats best/worst/real-world about it all. Thanks! :D

What are people using these days to clean aircraft windows? When I was working line service in the early to mid 2000s we used either straight water, zep 40 or some concoction my boss made. I have an a320 window I won in a charity auction and it's starting to get hazy and I dont want to ruin the coating. Is there anything i should be looking for? Not using zep as that stuff was crazy expensive back then.

I use lemon pledge on my plexiglass windows. I’d think it would be safe on glass as well, but not sure. I can’t remember the name of the foaming stuff we have for the jet windows at work

The foamy stuff is zep if it's in a white can. Its sweet stuff, but I'm way too cheap to buy it for one window LOL.

Oh really? I haven’t had an issue with bees, but that sure would be a fun surprise! Haha
