Assistance identifying a "plug" in rear of cab

2003 Toyota Tacoma DBL Cab/3.4l/Auto
Hey guys. Anyone have a part # for the plastic plug that goes into the rear cab? It's located in-between the cab and bed.
Just a little bit bigger than a quarter.
I went by Auto Zone, but the generic plugs they had were to big.

Have a napa close by? They usually have a selection of body plugs.

No, I have not been by Napa. If I don't order them from Toyota I'll try them Saturday.

@jammer do you have a toyota pick n' pull nearby? I'd go there before ordering a new OEM part.

It looked like the part you need isn't available anymore from @Gunshot-6A's 2nd link... unless maybe you get the whole panel, but maybe I missed it.

 

Try a mom & pop hardware store. The one in my town has a great selection of body plugs. And you can buy just one not the whole package.

 

That "Plug" is actually a one way vent to allow release of cabin air pressure.

 

Hey jbrandt........man I wish we had that in this area, but unfortunately no. 1st Gens around here are like gold so you never even see one sitting on a car lot.

 

Got it ordered with a couple of other parts. Ordered two just in case I ever need another one.

 

... post #11 ... " Plug " to release cabin air pressure ?!? So, my ears don't "pop" when I close the door with all the windows rolled up tight ? How thoughtful. But now when I dump the truck , deep in a pond , it may sink 100%. With a solid plug, no air out, no water in,I should float. I'd rather save a buck and paddle to shore.

 

you think they at napa have some good rubberish plugs for the rockers under there? these oem rubber flaps curled up upon corrosion protective spray last winter

J A Y! The man of the hour and tower of power. That was picture of the one on drivers side. There looks to be a total of three or four on the back of the rear cab.

 

are they broken or worn out?
plugged up?

 

The one I replaced was cracked and brittle. J A Y, you know I have ocd issues.

are they just made out of hard rubber or plastic?
