Morning homies.

Raced the car for the first time this weekend. The car out drove me by a long shot. But, it's freaking awesome. Did an Autocross event and I will be back for more. I figured I should get a half dozen of these under my belt before I take the car out to a big circuit.

 

Someone sent me a couple more. This car is fucking awesome. My best run was a second slower than the other guy in my class and he has 200 tread wear tires my first race. The cars is there I just have a bit to learn. I actually let one of the very experienced drivers run the car and he went 3 seconds faster than my competition. So the car has a lot in it, I just need to figure it out.

 

Where was this? Somewhere localish?

 

Yeah. The Mt. Joy Air National Guard base at the Mt. Joy Airport. Maybe 10 minutes from my house. Next one is in July 12th, I think it's at the Tax Slayer Center but I'm not 100% sure. They haven't posted it yet.

 

Oh thats right over by where i used to work like 5 years ago. We had an office in the Swiss valley building.

 

Better buy a car so you can play @Shellshock

For the record, Shellshock probably has a SCCA Region close to him that would place venues nearer him as well. So, he wouldn't have to come all the way here to run unless he wanted to for national points or something.

Those are the cones that are telling you the direction you need to travel. I didn't knock those particular cones over....

Not that I didn't knock any over or have one stuck under my car somewhere for two runs..................

I totally didn't come back to the pits, back into my spot and have a cone pop out from under my car. Swear it didn't happen. Also swear they didn't give it to me and tell me it was my trophy as my first killed cone..... LoL

 

Directional cones?

Deff didn't have that when I did a few stints in autocross a while back.

Maybe different locations do it slightly differently.

 

Totally depends on course design. You can see them in the video below. Just hadn't uploaded it yet. I am still super green so you can see I'm not sticking tight enough to about half the cones and I'm missing apex's by a mile. LoL
