    Recently switched from 265/70/16's to 285/75/16's on a 3" billy. Rubbing a little bit in reverse at full lock. Nothing crazy but i do want it to stop.

    Anyone have any suggestions besides having to do the cab chop under the front end?

    I've heard a body lift can fix this issue as well as new UCA's. Im just not as well versed on this s*** as the majority of you are.

    Would love some suggestions from you guys.

    Thanks! :help::help:

    Do you have a CMC? if not then I would get that and if you do already then I would get new UCA's and have the caster pushed forward. I'm running the same amount of lift from Dobinsons and have a CMC with a caster of +4.

    I dont have a CMC. I was wondering if there was a way to eliminate the rub without having to do that. Curious as to whether or not i could get rid of it with a body lift + UCA's

    I essentially have the same setup, I've been told by many folks that a CMC is inevitable when running 285's to fully eliminate rubbing. I plan on getting mine soon.

    Good luck OP :thumbsup:

    Thanks buddy. Hard thing for me is to tell exactly where its rubbing. It doesn't look like its rubbing the cab, which makes me think it might be hitting the UCA's? Or maybe im just blind :angrygirl:

    UCAs will move the wheel towards the rear of the wheel well while increasing caster. The only way to move it forward is with the LCA bolts. Get an alignment and ask for as much positive caster as your setup will allow.

    CMC might still be in your future.

    would depend on your wheel specs, but i'd get some new UCA and get a good alignment as everyone else has recommended

    I added a .5" spacer to my OME lift up front to eliminate the tire rub. Was running 285/75-16 on 16x8 0 offset. I was rubbing the fender liner behind the front bumper at full lock.

    OP, if you are rubbing the front liner, use a heat gun to reshape the plastic. Tons of youtube videos and TW posts about this.

    Get the wheel well dirty and look for the rub marks. Then you'll at least know where its rubbing.

    Also at 3" of lift I would get aftermarket UCAs
