It’s not raining season here, so I don’t have a answer for wet road driving. I did take it off road today from Joshua Tree National park towards Indio/Cochella, 5 hour trip. Tire handled the rocks and sand pretty well. Compared to the KO1, the KO1 where better off-road in my opinion, had more bite and grip. But overall, I’m impressed with the tires. I drive 80% on freeway/roads, so for $830 out the door including certs/alignment, it was a good deal. One of my new wheel did get scuff when going over some tight spots with rocks/boulders.

The ATR has been garbage from the start, I'm sorry you had to suffer through those.:ballchain:

The AT+ is significantly better in design, much needed R&D was devoted to it. Although as others have stated it is designed as a 95% on road tire.
I have used Pirelli on my Mustang and Fiero on and off for many years with great results. Of course I didn't put AT tires on those vehicles, but the brand quality is top notch.
For us weirdos who find fuel economy and hypermiling with a pickup truck dare I say, fun, the AT+ would be a solid choice.

I am stuck betwixt the AT+ and the Cooper AT3 4S.

In the end, if I'm honest with myself, I'll go with the Coopers because :oldglory:.

If you all bought tires for gas mileage you bought the wrong truck. Go get a ridgeline.

The 06' Ridgeline has a worse fuel economy rating than the 06' 4.0 Tacoma. :boink:
I'm not buying tires for gas mileage, just to suit my needs as we all should. It's all personal preference, no harm in discussing that.
I've hypermiled with all my vehicles, out of curiosity I suppose more than anything else. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was exclusively with the Tacoma haha.
