Did you have to do the cmc? Reason I ask is it looks like you're at least at zero offset on those wheels?

No I didn’t have to with my lift but did anyways. I have the spacers too so not sure the offset.

Just picked up a used rollbar/lightbar that I think was originally for a Ranger. It's a 5 piece bolt together bar so it's really more of a universal one, but not sure what brand. I set it in the truck to see how it looks and I think I want to widen it to get closer to the bedsides but then after sitting it on the driver's side propped up 2" and against the bedside, I'm not sure what I want to do. Widening means cutting the rear crossbar so that's the point of no return. ;)

Here's the bar sitting in the middle of the truck the way it bolts together.

    Tacoma_rollbar2.jpg

And here's the bar pushed over to the driver's side to simulate widening it. Widening will cost more, especially if I decide to have it partially welded so I'm not sure which way I prefer it yet.

    Yep.
    On another note...

The '09 RC got its frame inspected on Friday, failure found and corporate approved it yesterday. Parts are on order, 4-6 weeks.

I just got some Alcans that I ordered for 1.5” of lift over stock and stock payload. I won’t be able to install them for a week or two though.

I’m interested in that steering wheel. I’d really like a smaller diameter than stock.
Was it a nightmare to swap?

The seats are one of my favorite things I have on the truck. Totally changed the driving experience.

the steering wheel was very straight forward. Remove old one. Put resistors on the airbag plugs and reinstall the new stuff.

Forgive my ignorant question, but why would you choose to eliminate the air bag?

I got 7mpg on a trip to Tahoe. Lol7mpg was taken so I just did a generous round down.
He’s actually putting a small block chevy in a 1999 Mercedes wagon right now.
