Might have to get a live trap

 

Picking one up tmo from tractor supply. I trapped my female cat a few years ago when my son let her out by accident.

 

Thanks . She seems to be responding very well to the oxygen treatments, as her coughing seems to have stopped for now. Giving her her meds is a nightmare, because she wants nothing to do with the pills or the liquid. We're picking up a vaporizer tomorrow to help her inhale some other natural medication while she's sleeping in one of the bedrooms.

 

Praying for a Safe return. I had one disappear in a similar way and I was absolutely panicked. Luckily my wife found her under a neighbors deck.

Cats must have thermal vision...they can find any warm place to bed down.

Hope they both make it back to you. It's pool season and our kids have friends here often, going in and out of the house without concern for the door being closed even when reminded. I'm gonna end up in trouble with some kids parent when I lose it and yell at one of them.

 

I almost feel guilty for liking this. Sending up a prayer for their safe return.

 

Try setting out one of their litter boxes so the smell can guide them back home.

This is how I got Harley to come home after getting loose for over 24 hours a couple years ago. He's strictly an indoor cat and got out when I was living in a small studio unit in the foothills of our local mountains (coyotes everywhere). I was worried sick about him and resigned to the fact that I'd never see him again.
Then my dad suggested I put out his litter box on the front porch, sure enough a few hours later he came back. I suspect he was never very far to begin with but was too afraid to come out. The litter box smell probably helped lure him out of hiding.

Jean-Luc is all lovey-dovey when we get home after camping or leaving him alone for a few days... He rubs against our legs, purrs real loud, and drools all over us.
This lasts for roughly 20 minutes, and then he starts to back off and go back to normal.

Second paragraph is so true.

We found out ours has asthma a few months back. We have been giving him pred every day which has reduced his episodes down to almost zero. They have suggested an inhaler for him. Aero Kat makes one just for cats.
