It's pretty basic, removed seats, a frame that is made of 1x4's. The furthest front board is a 1x8 and I drilled holes that lined up to the front bolts of the seats. I then used hook bolts that snag the child safety latch tabs to further keep it in place. The next iteration will have more storage and keep the left side seat.

How hard was it to do the ECGS bushing? Wondering if i should do it myself, as a reasonably handy guy

Not to bad. I just watched the video and took my time. One of my buddy's had the tool cause he did his 4runner. Also helps if you have someone who has done it before lol

Added a Gentex homelink v4 mirror from Tacomaworld member RJP869 www.bobsmirrors.com. It has illuminating blue buttons for Garage door and compass. Simple plug and play if you already have the auto dim mirror on the off road or sport. Just one screw and factory plug. I purchased my barely (used) in mint condition, mirror for 159.00 free delivery. He has used v5 the same as in the pro and limited for a little more.
He also has new ones if you didn't want a used one. There is a whole thread on Bob's mirrors and Gentex homelink.

Ok but what does it do more than the Homelink that comes with a TRD OR?

Yes, on custom bedsides and a matte black vinyl hood scoop. Last time I washed I noticed some residue left over on the scoop decal. I hit it with some instant detailer and came clean. Other than that no issues.

Just released. Same part # as 2016 - 2018. Installed with no issues and is dead nuts accurate.

The Taco Truck is molded into plastic behind the dash/instrument cluster.

I’ve done engine and transmission swaps in the past. I consider myself pretty handy as a shade tree mechanic. I was quoted $370 for the part and installation. To me, that’s a deal. As I get older, my time has become more valuable to me, and I consider that a time consuming project.

Agreed, in fact it would have been an excellent idea... but, in this case, I never got the chance to exceed 60 km/h and everything was pretty much locked into place - the camera angle doesn't quite show it.
