I finally got my coilovers swapped, getting my ucas put on this weekend. Shes looking good though

 

So you swapped out the 2001-04 set up for the older 95 set up?

 

Yeah, I still have to swap the leaf springs and rear shocks too.

 

I'd like to adjust my coilovers up for more lift,
Can I adjust them while they are installed?

 

swapping mirrors as well?
those big ones just look 'different' with the vintage front lol

 

The mirrors look the same to me

 

did you have different than stock mirrors on your 95.5?
they did change the size of them one year but i don't know which year lol
the larger ones i hear are better, you can see more in them

 

No they were stock as well, that makes sense though. The mirrors in the 02 are electric though so that's kinda nice.

 

Went out exploring a little today

 

Make sure to grease your drive lines and make sure the diff breathers are functioning correctly, good looking though

 

How do I make sure they are functioning properly?

 

On the breather things, just make sure that cap thing has play when you spin it or wiggle it slightly by hand

 

Or if you know you might be wheeling in some water again, it would be a good idea to run some breather extensions. Basically you remove those OEM breathers and install a fitting in place with a nipple end that you can run some vac line off of(don't forget the clamp), and then at end of vac line install a little small engine fuel filter or similar.

You can probably source the parts to do it yourself for half that price but convenience is convenience man

 

Yeah I'll be about 20$ into it, the union on Amazon was 12$ which Is the only thing I'm waiting for.

 

Well things were going awesome, went up to silver lake dunes over the 4th and had a good time. Ripped around on some 2tracks, unexpectedly hauled a camper back for a buddy because everyone i was with broke in some way. Including the Ford hauling 3 jeeps on the way home. Well now its my turn, last night my rear diff started making some noises and doing some grinding... i knew the time would come because of the condition of it when I got the truck just didn't want it to be this soon. I drained the fluid last night and there is some little metal shavings in it. Going to the mechanic Friday to see if its salvagable.
