Question for whomever...

I have a sim card that should be crammed full of glorious pictures of the ever elusive whitetail deer. Yet when I put it in the card reader if says 'no file', does that mean it's not formatted? Are there pics on it? Can they be retrieved?

 

You’re welcome, but you just had that two days ago! You won’t want any more of it next visit!

 

I am no expert, but typically once installed into a device it normally formats it. Then you should be able to put it in another device/card reader to retrieve them if necessary.

 

I hope there is a discount for good dungeon behavior.

 

I'll try it on the laptop tomorrow, maybe my card reader is shit.

I have a 64 gig card in my phone along with my sim chip.

This is what the reader shows when I put the card in.
Side note: it always shows 14.4 at the top left when there are pics on the card.

Side note again: there were literally hundreds of tracks in front of my camera, I should have around 1k pics.

 

Looks like its says there is 12 kb used of the 14.4gb available. No pics are on that card.

 

It says the same thing every time I put a card in it. (Except the 'no file' part).
I hate being this dumb!

Is it possible that you could have gotten your sd cards mixed up and put the same one back in the camera. I know someone who’s done that more than once.

 

Jay could be right, there might not be anything on that card. Have you tried loading that SD card onto a laptop or PC?

 

I've done it too!
But not this time, I took out a black card and put in a blue one.

 

Not yet, tomorrow I'll give it a shot.
