My one and a half year old literally ran through a screen door of a trailer two weeks ago. Supermaned out, forehead to second step, front flip to feet then to belly.

cried for 3 minutes. Asked her to squeeze my hands tight to check her hands and arms, aka Hulk Hands, she smiled and squeezed the shit out of them.

And that is why she is called Baby Hulk

We were lucky. Barricade now in place on trailer

I’m with ya man, a the rare my little cowgirl is going she is going to be running circles around us in no time. I’m more on the same program as you are thinking now, keep it simple while she is little and change things up later on to better accommodate her. That’s a good point about sleeping thru the night too.

 Laughing aside that brings up a good point as far as containment from jumping out of the truck! I’m going to have to re make my screen to something that can deflect a toddler at full sprint!

We have let our daughter climb around in the truck with the tailgate closed but the upper window open. That contains her pretty well for now, but I imagine she'll be climbing over the tailgate in not too long.

All good notes. Thanks for sharing gents. Our baby isn’t crawling yet so I’m going to try to use that as a carrot to convince my wife we should get out there now before we have new obstacles to get by.

Our baby has been sleeping through the night in her own room for 2 weeks now. I’m hoping that a couple of nights of cosleeping in the Drifter won’t ruin what we have.

We, and many of our friends with kids, will attest that it was easier to camp before our daughter hit 6 months. In case you need some expert witnesses for your wife

Love all these stories about your kiddos, a big reason we upgraded from our 4Runner to the truck and impending Vagabond was because we hope to have some of those little ones someday soon. Awesome to see how y'all are managing them in your setups with wily toddlers.

that’s awesome man! Maybe some sort of bassinet on the lower level is your ticket.

I don’t have direct input on the 270 awning but I do have a snatch block from them and a couple soft shackles that have been quality. A friend of mine just snagged their 180 awning and so far likes it.

OVS sent the wrong side! A driver side arrived and I ordered passenger, which is extra weird because their website says the driver side won't be available until July 20th. I was really looking forward to to have this mounted up for the trip we have planned at the end of this week, but that looks like it's not gonna happen. GRRRR

Called OVS and they're sending the correct awning next day air. Pretty great customer service!

    Sweet!
I contacted them I believe I’m getting your awning as soon as it arrives in their warehouse.

Jeeze talk about coincidence. Everything happened so perfectly haha

Found out some nice hold down by accident. Happen to have my track saw clamp down next to the alu-cab load bars and figured I should try to see if it works.
Works perfect for temporary hold down compared to straps. Would be very useful to transport long stock home. Bars looks very similar to frontrunner.

Just home from a ten day trip around Oregon and a little Idaho. The Drifter is so great.

Got to the cleaning up part and noticed this on the seal, it’s coming off/unglued. How should I repair it? It’s only going to get worst.
