I did it by myself and it took me about an hour and a half. It was pretty easy. Do yourself a favor and do the passenger side first. The driver side is kind of a pain in the ass. The bolt does not want to line up right so you are going to have to do a little work to get it to go through. I used a round pry bar to line it up and then used the bolt to push the pry bar back out. I got the bolt most of the way through by hand and then had to tap it the rest of the way with a hammer and the same pry bar coming from under the hood. You can get a good reach on it from under the hood. A second set of hands would certainly help but you can definitely do it alone.

Forgot to post a few weeks ago. I finally got side ride mounts from @Nimble9. Solid, sturdy, no movement. Damn satisfied with the mod. Thanks again! 20200618_163948.jpg

Nice! Love seeing them with a Softopper!!!

I'm currently sans Softopper though, which I guess counts as something I did recently:

The previous owner did a horrible job at it. It looks like it is connected but it also looked like he used about 30 quick splices on it. Ever since I took my canopy off for the first time it never worked again

FYI you should trim the 2nd leaf before installing, it contacts the shackle and will gouge the metal over time

I definitely was not about to sit in the truck for hours to try and stitch the damn thing haha sitting on the couch allowed me to take breaks here and there when I got tired of stabbing my fingers lol

no, it's just a structural brace tying the two sides of the frame together. just FYI, most are meant for the stock spare location to not be used.

I'm currently waiting to see when BAMF's goes into production

no, the leaf right below the eye. I think I only trimmed like 3". you just want to trim the sides at an angle. and it'll be the end that is at the rear of the truck. you can also look up the BAMF shackle hanger thread
