    Ok thanks.
Not gonna bother going then . I have 5 days. I guess I’ll remove the NE from any vacation plans. Acadia was on my National Park list. Looks like I’m avoiding New York, Connecticut, Vermont, and Maine.
    Thanks for the help.

Supposed to quarantine unless from NH, VT but I drive several hundred miles per week for work around ME and NH and I've seen more out of staters dicking around. Telling people to not do something is trying to herd wet cats.

John, Jim here we met in Presque Isle last Oct.
What is your time line for getting from Hermon to Caribou? You could enter the Northern Maine Woods in Millinocket and drive up to Ashland/Portage and come out, Caribou isn't far. Let me know if you like more details.

    Thanks Jim ,
That was my original plan , but my understanding is that only Mainers are allowed into NMW.
I just need to camp 1 night then continue to Caribou... 3-31/2 hours.

If the restrictions have been relaxed and your aware of it let me know.

We’ll be in Hermon on the 6th

From the NMW website: "North Maine Woods and KI Jo Mary are currently open for day use and camping for residents and non-residents (who have quarantined for 14-days)."

Also, pretty much a statewide ban on campfires at the moment. Don't know if that will change with this week's rain.

Finally, this is a pretty good "wilderness" campground not too far off of I95 that you may want to check out. I couldn't find any Covid restrictions on their website.

You are correct Brownie man Thanks for the help.
Although it says that your allowed in if you have been quarantined for 2 weeks. Quarantined where ? Makes no sense
I’ve been quarantined for months at home here in Pa.
We’d like to get on the Golden rd in milinocket that only a little over an hour from Hermon. Find a camp site then head out in the am.

    campfires are allowed now too

Youll want to check the latest on fire danger the day before you get there. Im not sure how much of this rain they got up there, but it was super dry this past weekend and there was an area wide ban on all fires up there.

The friggin tourists renting the camps at the lake I'm on have been shooting them off all hours of the night all week. You're bound to find some someplace.. My bloodshot eye ripping open at 3am this morning from their attempt at a grand-finale was my favorite so far..

I was planning on making a NMW run on the 5th-8th (short notice, I know) i wanted to make an attempt at driving from Greenville through Telos checkpoint, hit the ghost trains, and then head up north through allagash river area, and drive out through to fort kent, and then down to bangor, anyone interested? My other person bailed.. and would be better with at least 2 vehicles.. more the merrier.. thanks.
