I’m confused. This looks like it was written by a 5 year old, but the account is 9 years old.

if i never had the parts to begin with, why do i need replacement parts. nothing in box but hardware, no rubber washers of any kind, nothing like the picture from the other post,, i did not buy them from fox, so why call them for parts, headstrong should send them too me, and i never got a answer from them, that the shock should not slide, side to slide on the bushing and they were missing parts, thats all they had to tell me,, all i kept getting was its an installer issue, if its missing parts thats all they had to say..

Holy Cow. Ok so here lets break it down even further in hopes of getting this explained once and for all:
    • Fox includes what is necessary for installation beyond factory parts that are reused. Meaning you received all that you would need to put the product on the truck within the box.
    • The parts are developed by Fox, manufactured by Fox, packaged by Fox and warranted by Fox. In this case Headstrong Off-Road only put the shipping label on the box.
    • IF YOUR PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER feels like there is an issue FOX may have a work around to mitigate such issue. Should one even exist, added parts MAY be needed. This is not something that is common so part like this are not included.
    • RETAILERS like Headstrong Off-Road and any other one that carries products generally do not have every single bushing, washer, o-ring, nut, bolt........for every single product manufactured by another company. In this case Fox.
Please take the product to a local licensed professional who is well versed in suspension to inspect the product. This way they can determine IF there is in fact any issue with the products or IF something was just installed incorrectly, which could be the sliding experienced. IF we were local to you we could assist you with this however since we are not we can not. To further clarify not all people who can put suspension on the truck have trouble shooting knowledge. For example I had a tire shop call us on Friday trying to install our 3-leaf under the factory overload. Anyone who has ever added a leaf to the truck would know this is wrong. So not every shop has the proper knowledge to trouble shoot and asses products.

IF this professional feels like there is any issue then we along with Fox can assist you with a warranty claim.

Until these steps are taken everyones hands are tied. If you do not feel like taking these steps you can reach out to Fox directly to see what they have to say on this matter as this is what our policy (that mimics many in our industry) says:

    Excerpt from HS Website:

    PRODUCT WARRANTY

    All brands excluding HS:

Non HS branded products sold by Headstrong Off-Road may carry a warranty covered by the product manufacturer, before placing an order we recommend reviewing the product(s) warranty. All warranty related claims of non HS branded products shall be handled directly with the manufacturer; HeadStrong Off-Road assumes no responsibility for defective and or faulty product. All shipping or other costs associated with the removal or return of defective and or faulty product are the purchaser’s responsibility and will not be covered by HeadStrong Off-Road.

Also to further clarify there is no bushing in the lower eye, its a heim with misalignment spacers for both sides. One misalignment is thicker which offsets the lower rod end such that its not centered between the tabs. The snap rings hold the heim in place, the o-rings fill the eye and cover the snap rings, the misalinments install into the heim and that is all that is included from Fox, we have explained this already in a email to you. We also explained that sliding is not normal and thus having an installation tech examine further to determine what's going on is necessary to accurately diagnose. For obvious reasons as well as for liability reasons we cannot diagnose this this remotely through photos and email.

Longer spacer goes in front to clear the sway bar. What is the problem here?
