FYI you should trim the 2nd leaf before installing, it contacts the shackle and will gouge the metal over time

I definitely was not about to sit in the truck for hours to try and stitch the damn thing haha sitting on the couch allowed me to take breaks here and there when I got tired of stabbing my fingers lol

no, it's just a structural brace tying the two sides of the frame together. just FYI, most are meant for the stock spare location to not be used.

I'm currently waiting to see when BAMF's goes into production

no, the leaf right below the eye. I think I only trimmed like 3". you just want to trim the sides at an angle. and it'll be the end that is at the rear of the truck. you can also look up the BAMF shackle hanger thread

I appreciate it thank you. I had no idea and I will look into the shackle hanger thread!

Edit: to clarify, if I buy the shackle hanger then I do not need to trim the leaf pack?

yes, if you get the hangers for sure. I'm not aware of them needing to be trimmed for a stock mount but I could be wrong. My truck had a one-off hunk of crap as a mount when I bought it, which is why I went to the BAMF bolt on mounts with HD shackles.

I hate when people hack up wiring. I actually enjoy doing proper wiring, I had to fix the radio harness on mine. It's just tedious.
That brake light connection is simple so it shouldn't be tough to fix it properly. Just a little time consuming.
I would be curious to see a picture of that wiring if you happen to snap one haha.

not certain as the option didn't exist back when I added them. I did this over a year ago. But i'd guess it's the 2.0. You might email him and ask which is the original. They are three completely separate strips, so the install relationship of the colors is 100% on you.
    Good quality vinyl tho.
