Did you get the LCA pivot kit?

EDIT: NVM....just looked at your build page saw what you are getting and see that he is doing all the work for you. I just did the LCA pivot myself and very happy with it!

Sweet! That’s on my list of things to do as well, so many things I don’t like about the one I built 5 years ago. First time ever doing any type of fabricating/welding at the time

Kit showed up today, somehow when I called last week to check on the status of my order they failed to mention that there is a delay on the cv axles so those won't be shipped till later this week. Gotta try and figure out my schedule now and get different days off from work as well as reschedule with my fab guy if he'll be available. Might have to dedicate a few hours to improve my lack of welding skills and do the gusseting myself if it doesn't work out :bananadead:

Powder coating the logo plates gold tomorrow to match my rims, also have a shock tower brace color matched gold as well. Can't wait to get this on

Pretty common race truck style mirror mount - I think they’re geared towards guys running metal door race trucks. I swapped my tiny side view mirrors that came on 96-00 tacos with 3rd gen 4Runner mirrors for much less and double the surface area just about.

Ok. Seems like it saves you breaking a mirror by ripping a big hole in the door.

Different for race truck doors obviously.

Worked from 10am-10pm yesterday tearing everything out of the front end, getting the tie rod ext. threaded on, installing the new shock tower brace which was a fucking bitch and a half, and getting the new TC cam tab gussets burned in. Welds are by no means consistent, some are decent beads and some are slugs but they ain't going anywhere.

Now it's 3am and I can't stop thinking about all the other shit I have to do to get done for my 3pm alignment, heading back out at 7am to continue the madness :sawzall::welder:

Does anyone know where I can get some of those little leaf spring isolator / pad things that go on each leaf? Have a TC sua with deavers and some of the pads are worn out. Taking them out to put in another leaf and wanted to get them all replaced.

Knocked this pita out thanks to @Anthony250 . Not enough room with the sc besides notching the hood ribbing to the top sheet metal. Put an 01-04 hood just to even get that much room. @Canks I’ve only seen guys with the updated hoods doing this. Even then it’s just enough space between the engine and the tube.

Two 10-12 hour days of work, also installed a shock tower brace which was a bitch to try and fit properly! Fitment on the drivers side double shear was complete shit and made it really hard to weld considering I've only welded my front bumper 4 ish years ago.

Cam tab gussets went in no problem, need to get an alignment bad now. Unfortunately I can't get one till Monday at 3 so I have to stare at it in the driveway for a few days. Pulled it out of the garage right before the sun went down so will have to get better pics tomorrow

Welds are not too bad. Get some scrap and throw down some practice welds before you run a pass on the truck. Will help some
