Someone mentioned above that they did, I have never rebalanced after removing and installing. They self center, and any movement based on tolerances before they are tightened is negligible.

No balancing issues with mine in 1.5 years since I had them mounted without rings and installing after.

My two Cents worth based on personal experience is that I had my wheels balanced with ring on and when I removed them to have them powder coated they vibrated and was out of balance with feed back to the steering wheel. I wasn't severe but enough to notice. About a week later I had them reinstalled and all back to normal. Your experience may vary.

still Wondering if anyone has these with like a highway tire. I’m getting Michelin defender ltx m/s and want to make sure that they won’t look funny

also the Toyota website says “tires may experience more wear than with usual rims” why?

Finally! I got my TRD Bronze Beadlocks with Satin Black rings and 265/75R16 Goodyear Ultraterrain AT tires installed. Discount Tire was excellent, they got the 5th tire for the spare in next day, and let me come in the shop and installed the rings between mounting and balancing. Super happy with the new setup!

Is anyone running these with a 2"-3" lift and 285/75/16 WITHOUT wheel spacers? And using stock upper control arms?

Also, do you rub on your frame or body mount?

It's pretty tight. I got less than 1" clearance from the tire sidewall to the UCA. I do rub from time to time, if i hit a bump at a pretty high speed. If you don't do serious off roading/ rock crawling, a leveling kit is good enough, otherwise I'd suggest modifying the suspension with an actual lift kit.

I'm just going to wait until the stock suspension goes to upgrade it on mine with an actual lift. My next mod is probably spydertrax wheel spacers (maybe 1.25") to give it a wider stance. These beadlocks run a +10mm offset, so you don't really get that "poke" out the fenders

Did you powder coat the rim and ring? Looks great, lately I've been considering powder coating my beadlocks graphite. When I originally started looking to purchase I was on the fence between the black and graphite and I went with the blacks. But now I have been thinking about getting them coated a graphite/metallic color

I just spray painted them with rustoleum matte soft iron. It's a little darker than the graphite color but I like it. Thought about having them powder coated but when they get scratched this is easier and cheaper to touch up. I also bought some black bolts but they are black oxide which will rust so I'm still trying to figure out what to do. The pic has half stock bolts and half black bolts for reference. I'm just going to drop this here. It's the install instructions for the bead lock wheels. I found it looking for the torque spec for the rings. It's 75 inch lbs or 6.25 ftlbs for anyone who has OCD.
