So, I’m laid up after giving my wife a kidney last week.
Had my mom (who is staying with us) take the covers off and bring them to me so I could put the stickers on...lol

    Mod with mom assistance...lol

kmc wheels w/duratracs. Bilstein 5100's. Rear firestone airbags. Jayco slide in camper
installed some front bolt-on torklift camper tiedows for a slide in camper I'm picking up next week. Have the rears too but apparently my hitch isn't stock like I thought it was and it won't work so I'm going the Happijac bumper mount route now.

Will be selling the rear tie downs (if anyone is interested) once I have 50 posts and am allowed to sell things haha

All nooks & crannies now upgraded with Dog Hair!
Was time to rotate the tires and decided to really rotate them off the wheels and flipped to show the white lettering. I've heard both yes and no, pro and con about changing a tire's rotation but these are KO2s, non-directional and I decided what the hell.

    Used to look like this:
    15910384632342_copy.jpg
    Now they look like this:

Dog tax paid by my girl hanging out in the shade under the Taco.

I think it gives the girl a bit of an old-school vibe and at 16 years young she is kinda old-school.

Looking at those pics I've just decided that my next project will be taking off the fender plastic and painting it. Done the heat gun thing twice and it worked but seemed to revert back to faded quicker each time. Happy Tuesday BTW.

this was easier than expected to replace after ~278 months (as far as i know its original equipment and not ever replaced during the old 15k, 30k, 60k, 90k maintenance schedule)
used a ratchet with longish 9/16s deep and contorted my elbow above side of spare tire on ground non-lifted level concrete and it came out like smooth butter, ...was quite worried it was gonna be seized and stuck, but no problemo!
this old one had a hard time jiggling and the top part would not twist as easily as the new part installed did, probably getting clogged up

Jay, you know there is one for the front diff also. They are already on a piece of tubing and are up closer to the engine. I can look a little later and take a pic if you need.

Not today, but over the course of last week I accomplished the following thanks much to help from TW members and my pops.
Truck is 2003 DC 3.4 4x new to me at 210k

    -Replaced rear shocks (5100)
    -Herculined the bed
    -Greased drive shaft
    -Changed differential and TC oil
    -Changed engine oil
-Low pressure flushed the transmission all new oil
    -Installed inline transmission filter
-Installed new radiator with new hoses
-Installed new thermostat jiggle valve down
-Changed air filter (worst one I have ever seen)
    -New PCV valve
    -Cleaned MAF
    -Cleaned the throttle body
    -Ran a compression test
    -New spark plugs
-New spark plug wires (wires were original 2003)
    -New coil packs
-Cleaned the valve cover really well and tightened the loose cover bolts hoping this will stop the leak. Fingers crossed
    -Sealed leaking sunroof
-Reconditioned the headrests by filling with Great Stuff
-Pounded out dents in rear bumper
    -Replaced DS seat fairing? cover
    -Installed new front speakers
-Fixed non-functioning DS outside and semi-functioning inside door handle
    -Replaced CV axles both sides
    -Replaced front differential axle seals
-Replaced upper and lower ball joints
-Replaced inner and outer tie rods
    -Replaced steering rack bushings
-Replaced sway bar end links and bushings
-Cussed a bunch and drew only minor blood

-Got an alignment done yesterday and numbers are all in the green even with a 3" lift
-Carrier bearing hopefully gets installed tomorrow
    -New tires are ordered

I just need to flush the PS and clean the reservoir and I think I will be good to go.

Forgot about the diff breather. Is the go to still to do a mod and run it up to the gas cap? I used to do that on my 4runners.

Belts look good and guy said he replaced timing at 200k. I do get a whine at full lock so hoping the flush takes care of that otherwise look at the belt and pump.

Discount just called right after posting. Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/75/R16 going on today at 3pm

be sure to clean the screen at the bottom of the reservoir, a lot of times it gets clogged and causes the whine you hear when the steering wheel turns.
