As far as I know, red/green = drivers.

HAM Radio hidden behind backseat. 3rd gen shocks / leafs soon to add struts. Everything else is stock besides the Viper remote start added because Minnesota sucks

Doesn’t matter your hardware will fit. It’s a direct replacement minus the lift

I never really found an answer on the dots and their meanings. I wonder if it's something similar to how OME Dakars have a +, 0 or - that indicates whether it is above spec, at spec or below spec for tension. If I remember correctly I had the red/green on the drivers side. I do have a little lean, but I wonder if it has to do with worn leaf springs and the AGM battery I have.

As for people saying that the 700lb springs make for a bad ride. It's not a very accurate statement. Spring rate doesn't determine the ride (within reason), the strut or shock is what makes the ride better or worse. Think about it sensibly here, aftermarket suspension (king, fox, icon ect...) use 650lb or 700lb springs and ride like butter.

I searched hi and lo for a definitive answer to the meaning of dots to no avail. What I did was to orient the coilover (predicated on the coilovers being "intact" and never have been disassembled) with the end of the lower end of the coil towards the rear of the truck as per the manual. I did this and don't have any issues....

I just got 2019 TRD OR suspension with less than 600 miles on it (struts, springs, and leafs) for my 2006 DCSB pre-runner. If I want to keep the factory rake I need to buy a 1" block for the rear to compensate for the 1" lift in the front from the new suspension? I shouldn't use an AAL with factory TRD OR shocks right?

Not likely. I have seen others comment that the leaf springs on a 3rd gen are infact different. I don't know by how much, but they are. I would install, give it a week to settle and see what you think from there. Blocks are cheap and easy to install later.

I can confirm that they ARE physically different. They have different part numbers and the 3rd gen leafs include a small tapered wedge or block similar to how some lift blocks will have some taper to them.

With that said, every report I've read here on TW is that the 2nd and 3rd gen leafs are functionally the same - meaning you will not see any change in height between them. I can't, however, confirm this from personal experience.

That would be great if you could get a comparison for us as I haven't seen anyone do this yet. I assume you're currently using the TSB springs? If you're still on the original 3-leaf springs then you'll almost certainly see a lift from the 3rd gen leafs in the same way you'd see a lift from installing 2nd gen TSB springs.

3rd gen leafs have the degree shim built in just like the 2014 driveline vibe TSB leafs for 2nd gens. Likely a different part number due to different sourcing etc, but overall essentially the same floppy noodle of a leaf.

I was curious about the TSB springs as my 2015 DCLB doesn't have them. I asked the dealer about the and they said my truck had the "updated" leaf springs and that my truck doesn't qualify for the shutter TSB as it only goes to the 2014. I didn't bother after a few failed attempts at trying to have them fix it while it was under warranty. Sadly the next closest dealer is almsot 2hrs away. This weekend I'll be adding adding Dakar EL095R leaf springs, B110's and 6112's up front.

I added 3rd gen suspension as well. Front gave me 1in lift and rear I also swapped out my 2+1 leaf and the 3rd gen leaf was a direct bolt on giving me a 0.5in lift. I added a headstrong 1/4 spacer lift to the front and a 1/2 toytec flat shim to the rear. Overall 1.5in lift in the front and 1in to the rear. Rides really smooth. I'm also running 265/75/16.

all 6 lug 2nd gens with a build date of november 2013 or newer had the 3+1 leaf packs with the "proper" shim installed from the factory.

I rock the EL095R pack on my truck. Do you self a favor, before putting them on the truck disassemble, paint em, and install some leaf liners (https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Leaf-Spring-Liner-with-Lip-2-1-4-Inch,39823.html) between the main 4 leafs with some grease on the lil leaf pucks.

Also B110's with stock bumpstops are going to bottom out before the bumpstop hits the frame, so plan on spacing out your bumpstop (which is less than ideal as you are limiting uptravel at that point).

Oh yeah!! I'll be adding fluid film over top of that as well, in Iowa we have insane amounts of salt in the winter. I am looking into the GM bump stops as they are 4 1/2" long and progressive, I may have to add a little spacer to them but much cheaper than Timbrens or others. I'll have to do travel measurements first of course. Just out of curiosity I measured eye to on the ground my current OEM setup as being 19" so I assume that with the Dakars that I will be at roughly 21"-21.5" static. Which should give me at around 5" up travel with the b110's before completely bottoming out the bump stop and of course about 6" of down travel. Which sounds nice if the number line up that way because it will be right in the middle of the travel the whole time. As far as the Leaf Liners, I haven't decided whether to do those or not yet. Is that mainly for noise? Thats how I understand it at least.
