When i was in Kuwait last year, I sold my TLC. Yesterday, saw it rolling down the road in MoCo on its own power. Great to see its still on the road turning heads. Miss it, but it was time to move on. Sad but it looks like my SCed Taco is going to be replaced soon.

    TENT SOLD

Selling my CVT Mt. Bachelor Summit Series RTT. This is the upgraded version with the thicker fabric, diamond plate floors, condensation matt, and telescoping ladder. They actually stopped making the Mt. Bachelor in the Summit line(all the upgrades) last year. Includes annex/floor and shoe holders. Practically new, bought new 3 weeks ago, and used a handful of times but just purchased a Mt. Shasta so this one needs to go. Retailed for $2200 before taxes.

Considering possibly selling with the bed rack and tonneau cover as a combo.

Thinking $1600 for the tent or $2100 for the whole combo. Will assist with installation.

Do you know if your RTT will fit my long bed with my truck box mounted in it?

What length of the bed does the truck box take up?

It should fit with no problem. Tent is ~ 52" wide so you should have about 4" to spare even with your truck box. Would fit like a glove.

It’ll fit with the bars a little closer together. I have seen several people do it.

thought you didn’t like RTTs though

We are looking into doing a week up in Kentucky on the KAT in September. We are going to try it out and see how it works for us. I'd rather have an offroad trailer with the RTT sitting on top of that, so we can just drop the trailer and go wheeling without all the extra weight on my truck. I don't have a trailer setup yet, so we're gonna see what the fuss is all about. If we don't like, we can always sell it!

The thing I like about the rack is that it keeps the top of the tent in line with the roof so it reduces drag and it looks sleek IMO.

If you decide you’re interested, let me know and maybe we can figure out a TW express since I’m somewhat traveling back and forth between South Atlanta and Huntsville for the new job.

Agreed, BUT half of it is pretty nice and scenic so it’s not quite as horrid then.

From ATL, you can take 75 north through Marietta and Cartersville GA and through Scottsboro AL to get straight to the east side Huntsville. I've made that drive before, about 3 hours.
