Way too much! I wish it only cost $120k. It did appraise for $40k more than what we are paying for it. Sucky part is it’s a fixer upper but we are hoping once we fix it up and finish the basement we will be able to sell it for a good profit if needed. Another buyer supposedly made a higher offer but they want a nice family like ours to have it. The Charlotte market right now is insane with all the New Yorkers wanting to escape.

whoever a couple page back is considering a wr250 - if you're looking for sub-par suspension off road, sub-par everything onroad, barely any power to go over 50mph or rip any whoolies, always having to avoid highways, never keeping up with friends offroad, and overall disappointment - say no more - you've found the right bike

    dang that bad ey...

considering the price, I still consider it a decent option... a 250 ktm would run like $3k more... a drz400 would tip the scale with an extra 65#...

does everyone need a full breed race bike?? prob not... but do many want a reliable yamaha? i think so

    lol :playball:

drz400 is okay cheap new sumo sounds cool except has all the cutting edge technology of 1977. we all know a 4stroke onroad klx250 or wr250 is horrendous and we only entertain the idea because its an easy option because they're simple to plate.

You can immediately remove any of the following from consideration regardless of price, quality, age, etc

    Klx250
    Wr250
    Drz400
Bikes that should be heavily considered
    Wr450
    Yz450f
    Fx450f
    500exc
    690enduro
    690sm
    Hondacrf450l
    Hope this helps
And remove anything not fuel injected as well. yw

    its just all highly subjective

those cheaper lower cc bikes vs the more expensive higher cc bikes... not even a comparison in any way outside of they all 2 wheeled motorized machines...

someone who wants to trail ride a wr250 or klx250 prob wouldnt want to trail ride a 690sm

and that crf450l, and i love honda so keep this in mind, sucks ass.... Ok sure its a fun bike for the weekend, but those service intervals are really really bad for a street legal bike and the price is fairly close to a comparable ktm

in a few months im gonna buy the oldest heaviest slowest pig on the market... and im gonna love it, although its too heavy, tall and slow for me

    xr650l all day baby!!!

Ya but are you going to learn how to engine brake it properly so you can ride the right way?

not even v funny tbh. a little drawn out now. its more comical that you guys think downshifting to a stop in any vehicle - car, truck, bike isn't the correct way to operate it. but lets not beat a dead horse. its time to worry more about important matters like why small cc 4stroke carbureted dual sports are basura...and what everyone plans for building bunkers are.

i think it was mostly a misunderstanding, i didnt explain myself well enough when i mentioned something about excessive engine breaking and it made it sound like i was under the impression you could remove it all together like any old add on lol... and it snow balled from there...

have always loved and wanted one of those as well, but the L is really better suited for my around town puttering

vastly different machines outside of both being "xr650"
