yea they are both fantastic bikes for what they are each respectively
    old technology none the less
but i kinda like that about the L, that is in part exactly why i want one...

id be slightly more pissed if and when I dropped a brand new KTM over any xr650l

I don't get the small cc 4 stroke hate. There are a lot of motorcycles that are not my style, but I still have an appreciation for them simply because they are motorcycles.

Friends younger brother had a wr250 plated for the streets. He sold it a month later. He said the bike was way to slow for road use

My first dirtbike was a 92 dr100 I believe that thing was a blast to ride on. Dad got it for me from a co worker had a broken kick starter had to jump start it every time. Kinda miss that little yellow bike.

I hear ya, hopefully things pick up for you guys. I feel fortunate that I didn't get impacted financially by this situation.

And too many toy projects isn't a bad thing in my opinion!

Hooray for working for the government. Although, I'm a contractor so I could have easily gotten axed, luckily we have more projects than PMs so I'm safe

I have the same thoughts, would be great to get paid for doing something you really have a passion for

Sadly very few really get to do that. Professional sports, musicians, actors.... maybe some others here and there in niche industries too perhaps. I like my job enough but I’m certainly not passionate about PMing IT projects for a transit agency

Yup it seems rare... I work in IT/finance and while I'm good at my job sitting in front of a computer all day is far from the most exciting thing to do
