Not very different from this, except the van is a GM, so less likely to make it to its destination

We had our first boy during hurricane Rita. The second came during hurricane Ike. We joked about the refinery explosion for our new baby girl but she came and brought hell with her.

I hate it when the Bison wont sit still for a photo op.

Bison graze in Yellowstone National Park.

    YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. —
A 72-year-old California woman was gored and injured multiple times by a wild bison at Yellowstone National Park after repeatedly approaching the animal to take its photograph, park administrators said Monday.

The woman was flown to an Idaho hospital after the Thursday incident. She was not identified, and her current condition is unknown.

The woman was at her campsite at the park’s Bridge Bay Campground when she approached within 10 feet of the animal multiple times prior to being gored, park officials said.

Run-ins between visitors and bison, also known as buffalo, occur periodically at Yellowstone. The animals are normally placid but can respond aggressively and charge when approached.

The proper name for a person like this is a touron. (rhymes with moron) "did you hear about that touron trying to get a selfie with a bison?" I worked 5 seasons in and around Yellowstone, a long, long time ago and this stuff happened all the time. Ain't nothing new under the sun.

You'd think that after 72 years she would have learned that wild animals are dangerous. :bananadead:

Working in Yellowstone with the tourists I was amazed on a daily basis by the stupidity of some of them. Besides animals some haven't learned that boiling water is hot, gravity will pull you down a cliff, snow is cold, sun is hot, and a desk job doesn't prepare you for hiking. Beautiful place, way stupid people.

(insiders tip - go to Yellowstone in late September. The crowds and bugs are gone, and if you're lucky you will heard the Elk bugle. )

Seriously. Most people that age know a thing or two, because they've seen a thing or two. This kind of shit never ceases to amaze me.
