Fox Shocks keep leaking

    Honeycomb composite sleeper platform.
    Fairly similar experience with Fox. Service Manager was very condescending when trying to figure out why the adjuster knobs don't turn. After doing a bit of failure analysis engineering on the shocks, it was determined the issue is internal on the shock. Nothing a user could have influenced could have resulted in the failure. Service Manager only offered that I could pay more money trying to fix a product that was defective from the factory.

    No thanks, I'm not willing to pay fixing defective product

    To answer OP's question though my 2.0's do not move much and no leaks yet. Knock on wood. I check it every now and then. I did however have Accutune put a 90 degree fitting and a shorter hose on it so maybe that helps. IDK.

    The OP @schneire22's reservoir was mounted remotely. As the suspension cycles up and down, the body will spin to a happy position where the hose has the least amount of bending. Still need to have the appropriate chafe guards in place. They're cheap and Fox should've included them.

    It probably helps having the resi mounted remotely. The tension and resistance of the hose coming from a fixed point would keep the shock body from rotating.

    accutune is 25 minutes from me, if the new reservoir mounts don’t work, I’m doing that too. Easy fix

    I might as well keep this thread going. Less than a month old, already had a significant leak. Enough to spray onto the frame. It looks like the leak was near the hose attachment or knob on the reservoir.

    If that's the case, the shock is going to be soft, limp, and useless for a few hours, and ok by the next ride. No need to take it to the doctor? These things are known to spray after 1 use? They do have a 1-year warranty.
