Sometimes when entering a business there is a sign that says "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" I can think of someone would cause a business to put up that sign.. It rhymes with slayscaldphako

Not that I necessarily disagree with you, but........

You sure have changed your tune (no pun intended) since earlier in this thread....

“Fast” ? No, not at all. And that’s not the intention.
Smoother and smarter shifting with smoother acceleration is what you get. And a little extra MPG as a bonus.

    I’m not trolling here, honestly.
But it’s my understanding that 2.0 beta and 2.0 final is the only tune that’s safe for the 2019 automatic transmission vehicles. Due to something about the automatic braking system that affected some OVTune customers. This was something going on in Jan or Feb of 2020 and you stated for the 2019 auto vehicles not to use 1.05 and 1.05.1 due to them not being safe to use.

Is this still a thing or can this vehicle use all of the tunes available?
If this is still true, then 2.0 is the only tune available for all 2019 auto vehicles.
So, in theory all 2019 autos did only pay for The release of 2.0.

You paid for a tune, not a specific version number. Not sure why you’d want anything prior to 2.0 anyway.

    You’re misunderstanding my post.

    OVTune said:
“sounds like this is related to 2.0
    A free, optional update.
Which we can delay for any reason if needed. Nobody paid for 2.0.”

My question in short is that it’s my understanding that 2.0 is the only tune available for the 2019 auto vehicles. Is this still true?
If it is still true, then everybody that has a 2019 auto that purchased OVTune before the announcement of VFTuner did in fact pay for 2.0 because it’s the only tune available to them.

The 2019 vehicles were released almost 2 years prior to the official announcement of VFTuner.

I see what you're saying, I think. But would you be happier if you had NO TUNE available to you?

Of course not. Also, this isn’t about “me”, it’s all people with 2019 auto vehicles.

I would much rather have a tune. That’s my whole point. The only tune available for this vehicle is 2.0.

I am in no way complaining here. I believe you guys think I am, maybe?

All I’m saying this for is to correct OVTune when he said “2.0 is a free optional update. nobody paid for 2.0”.
Well, that’s wrong for 2019 auto vehicle customers if i am correct.
My whole question is, is this correct or not?

We used to be able to tell people to only read @OVTune 's posts but it looks like recently he only responds to the bitching and not any of the legitimate questions.

Why would you answer your own question with potentially misleading or incorrect information if you do not know the answer. This clearly only exacerbates the problem of people not understanding and they may think the information that you are putting forth is possibly true. SMH I'm just gonna go back to uppercutting babies

You have a tune, you just said so

What tune do you want that you don’t have?

You are basically just pointing out that 2019s are newer trucks so don’t have tunes prior to 2.0, just like the 2020s and beyond.

Like I said before, you didnt pay for an update or specific tune, which is what is meant by “nobody paid for 2.0”. It’s been discussed many times before when people whined about released dates, issues, features, etc claiming they are entitled to 2.0 and paid for it

    What? You misunderstand another post.

0 and 2 for you. Maybe you should just quietly step back for a moment and let OVTune answer for himself.

I don't really come to this thread anymore.
If people have questions they can send us a message and we will do our best (Rafael or myself) to get back to you with the answer, troubleshooting help, etc.

I decided to check in here today and already regret it.

    Regarding 2019s.
2019 tune originally was released as 1.05. Some, about..10 percent or less, had issues. Because of that we pulled 1.05 and made a new version, updated, 2.0 beta.
If you want to get technical, then you either bought 1.05 and were forced to update due to an unknown calibration bug, or you bought it with 2.0 beta.

Only people who purchased a tune pack after 2.0 released were people who bought access to the current 2.0 finals.

If you would have spent your time responding to the legitimate questions rather than pick one negative poster to engage it probably would have been a lot more productive and you would feel better about your time spent here on the great Tacoma island.

The tunes are not power sequences like V1, V1.5, and V2.
Their iterations of the same tune, basically fine tuning the system to be better with each iteration.
What feature is it you're wanting with 1.5 that isn't in 2?
