But then it won't match the rest of the interior black out! Ha. I'm sure there are a ton of people who have painted it or laid down vinyl overlays. There's just something about taking out the old and replacing it with something new.

In my experience, I've never had luck with laying black over chrome. No many how many coats, there's always something that dings the paint and a little bit of chrome shines through. Enough dings and then it needs to be repainted. I'd just rather do a one and done type thing.

What's your rear suspension look like for the 10 degree angle?

 

So I still have stock TRD OR suspension (came with a 3n1 spacer/block from dealer), took out the stock leafs and the 1 inch block, netted me 2.75 inches over where I was...not an exact comparison and two different places/surfaces, but close enough side by side of before and after Dobinsons L59-111-R heavy leaf springsSo as we all learn here on TW, do the exact same thing to two of the same truck and you get different results.

Of course I did an alignment but am still waiting on my aftermarket coilovers and rear shocks to install with spc lr ucas hopefully later this month...I wanted to decent rake for when I haul firewood trailer and for week long trips!

Oh yeah truck also came with front diff drop, so that'll come out when I do the uca,coilovers and shock install...since an alignment will be needed one way or the other...but don't need it either way.

BAKFlip MX4 installed the other day. Had a strong storm roll through and I was happy to see water intrusion was minimal.





Also bought a foam cannon and went to town. Cleaned up nice.

 

Started receiving parts for a much needed audio upgrade.
Kicker Subaru tweeters.
Planning to use these as well as all Hertz for the other 4 speakers. Sound deadening the doors. Looking to see if this is improvement enough.

I had the same camera. I hate how they didnt give us a 90 degree plug for the rear camera. Seems like the rear camera wire was a afterthought. Ive since switched to a rexing v3 (front and in car camera) as my topper covers the rear camera too much.

 

I had the same setup in my F150 with a shell and it still seemed to have good rear coverage. My camper shell is due in next week - we will see!
