I'm still working out the details on how we will go about this.
because I guess the only option for some is either wait for dealer repair or purchase our replacement, even if they don't need the replacement for fuel demand.

Maybe this has been discussed? For those waiting on a dealer repair, are drop in fuel pumps out of the option with your fuel controller?

I have a MT. I bought a URD stage 3 clutch a while back anticipating that the stock clutch would eventually need replacing with the added torque. Probably will install it within the first 6 months after the TT kit gets installed.

Curious to see how the OEM clutch holds up. I'm sure it will be fine unless you do a lot of towing or wheelin'.

So will we be able to run a boost controller without having to change the tune? As an example, 14 psi tune with a boost controller to dial it back/up when needed.

I have to test first to ensure the springs don't just get blown open from exhaust pressure when trying to run that much.

    So, this video sucks.
Ignore my check engine lights, I have my rear O2s completely removed for tuning purposes.
This is with 4psi springs (because I was testing them).

This is just cruising around, and getting up to highway speed. didn't floor it, just your average 10-15% pedal.
you can see the peak 4psi is generated quickly under low throttle, and can hold 1-2psi at cruising speed, which is actually very nice, because it cruises at a very low throttle angle with the torque converter fully locked. (you can see it locking in the second half, s5). I'm playing with the gas pedal a little bit to see how boost fluctuates (you can see).

once again, this video isn't very good. Sorry I am working on getting better videos.

For those of us with the recall, I just called the dealer and scheduled the recall work. I must’ve been dreaming previously because I thought there wasn’t a fix out yet. Appears that’s not the case.

You must have gotten lucky. ToyotaCare website says the remedy isn't available yet and my dealer told me that it most likely wouldn't be till end of this year/ early next.

I’ve been checking and it still doesn’t show a fix for me either. From what others have said, most are targeting September at the earliest

My dealer said the website is out of date. You may just want to book something and let the dealership tell you otherwise since they’ve got the inside knowledge.

    Working hard prepping these kits.
Regarding the intake specifically, it's designed for use with stock intake box.
Will not work with anything except stock intake box.

We had to machine a special intake component just for that. Previously was done with a welded piece. But doesn't look as nice.
So you'll get a nice billet machined intake adapter for the twins. (3.25 taper to 2.5 for each turbo).

All machined from 6061 billet Aluminum.

Also the wastegate brackets and stuff but those aren't really as cool.

Anyways have most of it sitting here, waiting on the downpipes.
