    Just from what I’ve read. The dpx2 comes in 4 stroke lengths at 210. 210x50mm, 52.5, 55, & 57.

what I’ve read says upgrading the stock 210x50mm (130mm travel) to the largest option, (210x57mm) is 143mm travel. I could be wrong.

Im not saying you’re wrong, lol I only could find very small info on it and I don’t know how the stroke translates to travel. I didn’t want to go any longer than 50mm (stock) or 52.5mm at the max.

If you know for sure what my rear travel will be with the 210x52.5mm I’m all ears! My goal wasn’t more rear travel, just the better performing shock. This brand new shock at this price was too good to pass on.

I’m also unfamiliar with what differentiates the different shock stroke so please educate me!

Also if it was solely a spacer couldn’t you buy any of them and Change the spacer? So wouldn’t the only measurement that matters be the 210 measurement?

Gotcha. Well the shock you are getting (if it is out of the SB130) is a 210x55 but it has a 2.5mm spacer in it so the SB130 has 130mm travel with a 52.5mm stroke. The SB130 LunchRide comes with that spacer removed for a stroke of 55mm and a travel of 136.

5010 comes with 130 rear travel, 50mm stroke for a leverage ratio of 2.6. 2.6 multiplied by 52.5mm will give you a travel of 136.5mm.

Clipping the spacer out is easy, but putting one in is not very easily done.

haha thanks. Most of the parts came from my old bike so I didn’t have to buy much to build it up. I bought the frame, a new rear wheel, and cranks. But overall yes maybe a couple pretty pennies

And I shouldn’t have any clearance issues right? From what I found the only sketchy thing would be 57mm stroke? I don’t plan on clipping the spacer.

I gotta go pick it up at the bike shop after work. But none of my coworkers are bike people, so they don't understand my excitement. You guys do.

You guys, I’m tempted to preorder the Transition Spur and sell my two bikes for the single steed after your links, y’all suck. But I love my hardtail, and should probably keep it but I’d need the money for this bike. Also, I’m 5’2 and am worried about going from 27.5 to 29. Decisions! I demoed the Scout at Sedona a couple years ago and I just love their bikes and the guys are really nice, seem like a solid company.

5’2” is quite smol but I really dig 29, and with that geometry I don’t think you’ll see there are benefits and not really any negatives.
