Im seriously considering buying a side x side shotgun, Im really getting into wing shooting and am tired of using a pump or semi-auto like everyone else, I was just wondering if anyone here has one they could post pics of and tell me a little info about it. Or just point me in a good direction of some nice middle priced double barrels.

    Lots.
I like over unders a lot better. I used to shoot a beretta and loved it.

This is a 686. It's similar or the actual model I shot. Could never afford one though.

If your looking for an OverUnder maybe I can help.
I used an old Savage OU double trigger. The recoil was terrible, it took about a week for the swelling in my guard finger to go down after the season ended. Moral of the story is don't go with a cheap gun, fortunately for me I did not buy that OU, it was my old man's gun, seems a lot has changed in recoil, balance, weight over the years.

My recommendation Browning Cynergy or Ruger Red Labels, I'll probably be looking at the Browning next season

    Browning ($$$)

    Ruger ($$)

    Hope this helps

I have a Fox, model B 16 gauge sxs my grandad gave me in 1968. To me it's still the best looking quail gun there is, just my opinion, I'll post some pics later.

    i love an overunder.

i have a kliengunther with to full choked barrels. horrible for dove and quail..but will be awesome in a duck blind.

i also have a silver pigeon with skeet barrels. doves beware. my stepdad is giving me a citori for the holidays. hopefully i get the choke in the middle..

For wingshooting, go w/ a sxs.

Dual triggers. You can choke each barrel different. I have an old stoeger condor 20g sxs, just like the pic in post #2. Imp cylinder in one, and modified in the other. Bird flushes close, open choke. Bird flushes far, move finger back to 2nd trigger and tight choke.

I love that old stoeger. Paid $200 bucks for it. Its light and reliable as long as I don't feed it Remingtons.
