July 4 - Hit the trail at 10am to be in Chelan (Shell - 301 E Woodin Ave, Chelan, WA 98816) at 11am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Chelan at 1pm, camp around French Corral (47.705545, -120.513343)
July 5 - Hit the trail at 10am to be in Cashmere (Shell - 102 Titchenal Rd, Cashmere, WA 98815) around 1130am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Cashmere at 130pm, camp around Lion Rock (47.251884, -120.588883)
July 6 - Hit the trail at 10am to be in Ellensburg (Circle K - 1600 Canyon Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926) around 11am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Ellensburg at 1pm, camp around Bethell Ridge (46.717604, -121.113322)
July 7 - Hit the trail at 10am to be in Packwood (Chevron - 12974 US-12, Packwood, WA 98361) around 1115am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Packwood at 115pm, camp around Horseshoe Lake Campground (46.309903, -121.566621)

 

It’s starting to shape up like work is going to be slow next week so I’ll be able make the entire trip now. Boss said just go have fun take the week off.

Is anyone bringing a stove that I can use so I don't have to drag my 3 burner camp chef out with me? I have a couple small green propane bottles and an adapter hose and large propane tank I can bring so I'm not a total bum.

 

I have a little 3 burner and a mini BBQ. If I have to bail before you join in I’ll send it along. I’m working down south so it’s not the end of the world to get it back to me.

 

I don't want anyone to go out of their way for me just because I am being lazy.

 

Mc Donald’s cheese burgers are good for like 9 days before they start going bad.

I’ve honestly been thinking about that, but was to ashamed to put it out there...

 

My buddy gets a dozen cheese burgers and a pound of chicken before we go on hunting trips. He thinks it’s genius, I think it’s fucken disgusting until we get back to camp and we have burgers and chicken strips ready to go in 5 minutes after warming them up. I’ve seen him pull out week old burgers the next weekend and look at me and say he had them in the fridge all week at his house so they are fine.

That’s a long ways and across a huge river from where we are gonna be. Nevertheless the fire danger is real. One lighting storm and it’s gonna be game over.

Used to do that pretty often in college. Stock up on McDs and J'n the B for the week. Added bonus to come home to after some late night festivities.
