You're not kidding. I finally beat back this invasive tree colony and ended their reign on my entire yard. All fhats left is their remains and destroyed chain link fence.

Cant even imagine how much its going to cost to put up a privacy fence.

This is the snek that bit not one... but two of our dogs on Saturday Evening. The antivenin is $600 a dose... and 1 dog needed to go back for a second dose and more treatment. Add in the multitude of other pain meds, fluids, clotting tests, exam fees, overnight fees, yada yada... :bananadead::spending:

I'd pay for it all over again too. Stupid doggos are worth it but hopefully they learned...

Sorry brother. My own brother's dog got bit 2 years ago. All said and done was about $3500. She was an old girl, hit twice in the face, but stubborn as her doggy daddy and still going at 13.

Hope they didn't get hit with too much. :fingerscrossed:

both in the face (snout). The bigger one (90 lbs) didn't get much and handled it way better. She came home after about 5 hours. Ruby (58 lbs) had puncture wounds and lots of blood. Wouldn't clot. She came home the next morning but as the day progressed she kept balooning up so we took her back for round 2.

They are both doing good now. Still residual swelling but they are active. we kept taking pics for progress comparison.

    peak swelling

Thanks. They are doing much better now. We're just happy we found the snake. And it is true what they say, rattlesnakes don't rattle as much anymore. Not a peep from it even as I nudge it with shovel to expose it's head.

Don't look, just do it. It works, and the dog doesn't forget.

Smart. I wonder if the owner is participating during training or not, just generally curious.

Has anyone got experience with the Rattlesnake bite vaccine for dogs? I know it’s only good for the diamondbacks, but it seems like pretty cheap insurance

Whats up Taco fam!! So I have a question to anyone who has experience with purchasing lifts and tires. So a quick summary of my tacoma, it’s a 2020 Tacoma TRD sport, doesn’t have 4x4. It doesn’t have A/T tires nor the off-road suspension. I’m not planning on doing any crazy off-road trails but I do plan on camping. What I was wanting to do is get 2 or 3in lift and A/T Tires but I don’t want to spend crazy money. I wanted to get some guidance from y’all before I go to any shops.

For camping you probably don’t even need the lift. Throw some Nittos or Coopers on there and call it done.

The worst part of it is hearing your dog yelp when he/she gets the shock from the collar, but that sets the tone. We had them do a neighborhood event for a couple of years here, and our next door neighbor's dog had been through it the year before, and was going back for a lesson on another type of snake. When the lady from Winter pulled up in her truck, Rowley wanted to go straight home, and the snakes were still in the back of the truck, in their boxes!
