I really want a snorkel  I have absolutely no need for one, but I love the "Aussie" look.

I don't think any snorkel is truly usable without some major waterproofing elsewhere. I just like the look :D

Yeah, when I did my snorkel on the Jeep I sealed up the airbox and did diff breather relocation.
The one you posted isn't bad. The one I posted goes too far up/back. Looks weird.
(they do look better overall on Jeeps, though)

I was thinking more of the electronics needing to be sealed. I have no doubt that "my" snorkel will be purely for looks.

I always wanted the ARB snorkel and bumpers for my TJ too. I just never modded it.

I honestly guess I just knew it would never be a great camp vehicle. I loved the TJ and would still be driving it had I not been hit. The Tacoma is the perfect vehicle for my uses...……..it just needed a few "add-ons" :D

I think all gens look silly with a stack. Yuck!

As for the coil overs (no struts on a Tacoma). It is that easy. The only issue will be if your top 3 bolts are rusty AF. Saw zall them off. The new assemblies will have new ones. You already know about the bottom bolt being installed backward, so that is the only other issue.

Sometimes the sway bar will give you resistance. You just place your vehicle bottle jack between the top a arm and the underside of the wheel well. It will push down the assembly so you can get the new bottom spring bolt in.

I timed my last change out. it took me 35 minutes to remove both tires, swap out coil overs and bolt tires back on...and I drank a beer.
